Understand which currencies you can use for making payments
Solidgate offers the capability to process payments in more than 100 currencies, complying with international currency standards as set by ISO 4217 WIKI . This ensures that currency codes and minor unit calculations are consistent and universally recognized.
With this feature, you can provide your customers the ease of paying in their local currency, which is converted and deposited into your account in your preferred currency.
Solidgate accepts amounts in a currency’s smallest unit. For example to charge:
- 10 USD, provide an amount value of 1000 (that is, 1000 cents).
- ¥200, provide an amount value of 200. For zero-decimal currencies, still provide amounts as an integer but without multiplying by 100.
