Principle of operation

  1. Selection at checkout
    Customer chooses SEPA Direct Debit at checkout.
  2. Payment initiation
    Customer provides their IBAN and authorizes the mandate, allowing the merchant to initiate the withdrawal.
  3. Authentication and authorization
    Customer confirms the payment using their IBAN, and SEPA supports one-off and recurring transactions.
  4. Payment confirmation
    The payment is processed within 2-14 business days, depending on the mandate.

If you want to test the different use cases for SEPA payment, please use the following test IBANs. These IBANs have a valid checksum and should be supplied when creating a new mandate.
