Principle of operation
- Selection at checkout: Consumers choose BLIK as their payment method on the merchant’s website.
- BLIK code request: Merchant display BLIK payment collection form to customer.
- BLIK code generation: Consumers launch their bank app, which displays a six-digit BLIK payment code, valid for two minutes.
- Code entry: Consumers enter the BLIK code into the payment form. The merchant sends a payment request to Solidgate.
Note: The final transaction result will be determined at step 7. - BLIK notification: BLIK sends a push notification to the customer’s banking app.
- Confirmation: Customers authorize the payment in their banking app within 45 seconds.
- Transaction completion: Upon receiving the authorization result, Solidgate returns a message to the merchant confirming the outcome of the transaction.
